Corey Leavitt started photography in high school with his mother’s old Minolta 35mm camera. He began documenting his life around him with both photography and film as his medium, especially on the farm he worked on during his Saturday mornings. Growing up in the city of Philadelphia, working on a farm was not the norm for most of his peers and he was drawn to documenting this unique piece of his life. He felt that this was a lifestyle not many others he knew had encountered, and showing people what it was like through this new medium was exciting. For the next few years, Corey started documenting his life around him as he grew up.

Now as a professional photographer, Corey still continues to enjoy documenting the space around him and showing others how he sees the world. He looks to highlight everyday scenery that is often passed by and shows how extraordinary the every day can be. Corey’s work is a window into his eyes and imagination that he wishes to share with the world.
